Enjoying Local Tourist Spots in Israel

Israel has many beautiful spots for tourists to see and admire. If you have never gone there, some of the must visit places are the Old City of Jerusalem, the Tel Aviv beach, the Dead Sea and Camel Market. Since I like to stroll around and feel authentic atmosphere of a place, I always love to walk to the local market. I like to purchase cheap local souvenirs and taste local delicacies during my stroll in the markets. Thus, before I went to Israel, I did some research to find out about their Camel Market, the biggest market in Tel Aviv. A friend of mine told me, if I was planning to travel Israel, I should observe their national holidays. Many shops may close early during those days. He turned out to be true. During Shabbat (Saturdays), it was difficult finding shops that were opened.

So, I shopped on Friday when the market was really crowded. The next week, I got pretty smarter and did my shopping on Wednesday where the market was less crowded. Their local delicacies that I liked most were their kebabs and freshly baked breads that were sold at very cheap price. If you wish to visit other tourism areas in Israel, you can get a taxi or you can rent a car. Rent a car in Israel is relatively easy and it will help you save a lot of time instead of waiting for a local taxi. You can ask a local about a well-known car rental company or you can just browse around online.
