One of our favorite children’s shows is Curious George . Curious George is a storybook monkey which was created almost seventy years ago. George has remained popular through many generations of children viewers who have delighted in his many escapades and adventures. He is a loveable character who is always curious to say the least, and loves investigating life with an innocent inquisitiveness. Although very often George will make mistakes and get into trouble but his conscience will always get the best of him and he never fails to repair the chaos he has created and mends his mistakes.
Curious George has a television program which aims to teach children about problem solving and doing right from wrong. We love watching Curious George every afternoon on direct tv. Sometimes after watching an episode of Curious George, the children will often play a pretend reenactment of one of George’s adventures. I love to secretly eavesdrop on their imaginary play and am amazed at how well they understood the moral of the story they watched. I am so thankful there are still children’s shows around like Curious George to teach my children good morals and valuable lessons.
